neutra is the first typeface from multidisciplinary designer zoe reifel. available in one weight, neutra includes upper and lowercase letters, lining-style numbers, punctuation, and various symbols.

its letterforms are inspired by the aesthetics of retro-futurism, gen x soft club, and y2k. rooted in a geometric approach, neutra has a sleek, technical feel with a nod to space-age graphics.

design principles 01 wide proportions: particularly in lowercase, letterforms are stout with a large width and short height. 02 geometric counters: glyphs form precise rectangular or pill-shaped counters with rounded corners. 03 low contrast with inky corners: strokes are a consistent weight with ink traps in specific corners. 04 no diagonals: all strokes are perpendicular to one another.
